HeyFurnish (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at heyfurnish-ten.vercel.app. We provide an AI-powered interior design advisor that generates personalised furniture recommendations. For privacy enquiries, contact us at hello@heyfurnish.com.

2. What we collect

Room & style preferences

Room dimensions, budget, design style, household type, and primary use — entered during the design quiz. Stored anonymously in your browser session and optionally on our servers to power your recommendations.

Email address

Only collected if you voluntarily subscribe for design tips. Used to send our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

Usage events

Anonymous events such as which filters you use in the marketplace, which products you click, and how long you spend on the recommendations page. Tied to a session identifier, not your email or identity.

Payment information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a subscription status and your email address.

3. How we use it

To generate personalised furniture recommendations for your room

To improve our recommendation engine and product catalog
To measure which features are used and how (product analytics)
To process payments and manage subscriptions

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling outside of HeyFurnish, or any automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Data retention

Room session data is retained for 90 days after your last visit, then deleted. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymised usage events are retained for up to 12 months for analytics.

Under GDPR (if you are in the EU/UK) and CCPA (if you are in California), you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Opt out of email communications at any time
Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
